Hello!
Since I have posted a couple of guides on this forum, I thought I could post my two volvo "projects" also.
The first one is my D24TIC 945 1993, I have owned it for 2,5 years now and I have used it for everything from driving to school/work, transporting stuff and having fun in the wintertime.
Since the previous owner used it to tow and transport heavy objects, it does not look very good: it has schratches and some dents, but the mechanical part is OK!
Since it's such a easy car to work on, the regular owner can fix many problems on it by himself. I have changed the brakes, springs, shock absorbers, wired some better stereo system parts etc.
Here are some pictures of the first Volvo.

After I while, got my hands on a 1996 944, but it didn't have an engine, gearbox or a driveshaft, but it has leather interior, all electric windows etc.

Half a year later I brought an D24 engine for it together with everything I need and more.
Since I wasn't able to rent a trailer, I had to transport the engine in my trunk Grin

Before I can install the engine, I have to sort the engine mounts out and since I had the time, I cleaned the rust off in the engine compartment and gave it a overall little wash.

After grinding off rust, priming and painting:

Currently I really don't have to fix anything on my 945, so when I get the time and chance to work on the 944, I will post pictures here and keep you posted.
To sum up, neither of the Volvos are in perfect visual condition, but I like them anyway.
