#1
Greetings from New Zealand all !. I rescued a B27E 1977 Volvo264GL that was in storage for 18 years and in the process of bring it back to close factory condition. I manage to start the car within 3 weeks and decided to restore it. Mechanical its in very good condition and as usual it has surface rust . I an hoping to get advice and assistance from your experiences and hopefully source difficult parts from your region. Some pic and links below

Looks pretty nice to drive this Volvo on the roads.
. It got a bit scary to see someone drive on the left side
. I think we here in Sweden switched from Left to right side driving on the 60´s.
Anyway this project is going to be so fun to follow

Headlight Frame restoration.
The Headlight frame had some surface rust when removed and did some tidy up. The beam adjust screw was buggered and got new ones but the tab that receives it is loose. I may have to just use cable tie to secure it. Some pic below

Interior Floor & Boot section
Inspected the interior floor , trunk cleaned where necessary and plan on what is needed . The floor is not rusted but the old 42 year old vibration , sound and carpet insulation layer was crumbling. Also had some coolant leak on the passenger side. Removed all the carpet and tided it up and will put it back it once painting is done. The carpet was faded but not too worn so I will reuse it to keep some period look.. Some pic of what was done.

Original Hooters Horn , did some research and its from UK . Came out nice then expected and brass connectors still in good condition after some brushing. Added additional terminals for installing alarm later.
