I post this question in this category..
Do you know what the tightening torques for the valve cover(camshaft cover/rocker cover however you want to call it) bolts are? I looked in autodata, volvosweden guide forum and the internet but havent found it yet.
I believe Volvo should have included some torque values, as those bolts are the easiest to snap.

Is it what we called them here in Sweden ventilkåpan, valve cover ?

Jag trodde jag hade sett en siffra på åtdragningsmoment på ventilkåpan. Men jag hade tydligen sett fel. Det verkar inte finnas nån info om detta. Många som drar åt muttrarna till ventilkåpan på Volvo 940 drar inte hårdare än 15Nm.
